A tour between the beauty of nature and important historical and archaeological sites.
Starting from the small town of Sasso, we’ll have the chance to see the ancient village of Castel Giuliano, inhabited by Roman and Etruscan people, and its beautiful Palazzo Patrizi built between XVII and XVIII century.
The tour will then lead us, passing through the typical Cerveteri’s brush, to discover some hidden waterfalls that will leave us astonished. Finally, facing small fords and some technical singletrack, we’ll get to the Banditaccia’s Etruscan Necropolis, placed into UNESCO World’s Heritage list since 2004.
Length is 33 km, with an elevation gain of about 700 meters. Includes some technical singletracks and a couple of very hard climbs. The tour is classified as hard, suitable for bikers with good conditioning and good driving skills.
